Regional Managing Attorney
Syracuse, NY Career growth and development opportunities The Colwell Law Group is currently seeking a Regional Managing Attorney to join our team in Syracuse, NY. As the Regional Managing Attorney, you will be responsible for managing client complaints and ensuring that the regional legal team meets its stated key performance indicators. You will also be responsible for maintaining and promoting good relationships with clients and working with the Managing Attorney (Legal Development) to support the growth of the regional legal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management skills, as well as a background in family and matrimonial law. Key Responsibilities: - Manage client complaints and ensure the regional legal team meets its stated key performance indicators (KPIs) under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Legal Operations. - Prepare quarterly performance reports utilizing KPIs for regional attorney reviews. - Delegate case assignments to regional attorneys as needed to meet their stated KPIs. - Participate in scheduled morning legal department meetings. - Conduct regular regional attorney case reviews to ensure high-quality legal services. - Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews with the Director of Legal Operations. - Participate in attorney recruitment and hiring process, as requested. - Support new hire onboarding and training for regional legal staff. - Attend billing and account management meetings as needed. Qualifications: - Passed Bar Exam and Law Degree. - 8 years of experience in sales management. - US work authorization. - Strong leadership and management skills. - Direct experience in family and matrimonial law is a plus.
