Litigation Secretary
San Francisco, CA H1: Join Our Team as a Litigation Secretary at a Leading Law Firm H2: Immediate Opening for Experienced Litigation Secretary at Law Firm Law Firm Seeks Experienced Litigation Secretary - Full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunity to join a leading civil litigation practice at Allen, Glaessner, Hazelwood & Werth, LLP - Ideal candidate has 10 years of current experience on a civil litigation desk Responsibilities Include: - Managing workload for 4 attorneys on a heavy litigation desk - Accurate and efficient management of attorney scheduling and calendars using electronic system (ProLaw) - Preparation, formatting, and editing of legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, and correspondence - Thorough knowledge of rules and procedures for service of documents and filings with Federal Courts and California Superior Courts - Ability to multitask and meet demanding deadlines - Management of documents using firm document management system (Imanage) - Taking initiative, being resourceful, and anticipating needs of attorneys Qualifications: - Minimum 10 years of current experience on a civil litigation desk - Attention to detail is a must - Paralegal skills are a plus - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and interact professionally with clients, court staff, and third parties - Team player with the ability to work effectively and courteously with co-workers - Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Outlook, and Adobe - Experience with document management system preferred, Imanage and Prolaw experience a plus This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life/ADD, and 401k.
