Essential Duties:
- Consults with clients on a regular basis to maintain business relationships.
- Obtains new clients business on an on-going basis.
- Advises clients concerning business transactions, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
- Interprets laws, rulings and regulations.
- Analyzes the probable outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedents.
- Initiates and respond to legal actions.
- Presents and summarizes cases to judges and juries in controversial situations that present high stress levels.
- Travels as required by client and case location.
- Maintains firm’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to firm by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:
- J.D. (law degree) required
- Three to five years of experience as a lawyer.

Position Summary:
The Associate Attorney - Trial Department will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents, and manage or advise clients on legal transactions. They may specialize in a single area or many areas of law. This role requires a J.D. (law degree) and three to five years of experience as a lawyer.
