Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT Help Desk Technician to provide remote support for our law firm employees across the country. This role will involve troubleshooting technical issues and finding effective solutions for a variety of platforms and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer software and hardware, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Position Responsibilities:

- Administer and support end-user activities on Microsoft Windows workstations
- Analyze and resolve network hardware and software failures
- Manage and train network devices and security, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on new software and equipment
- Maintain and distribute desktop hardware, including peripherals and driver installation
- Identify and resolve issues with desktop hardware and software, both locally and remotely
- Research and collaborate on resolving software application issues
- Maintain records of repairs and fixes using ZenDesk
- Other duties and projects as assigned

Position Requirements:

- 2 years of experience in a service desk or help desk role
- Associates degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- CompTIA A certification preferred
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ZenDesk, ServiceNow, or FreshDesk
- Knowledge of wireless network support and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Azure environments
- Knowledge of MacOS and iOS a plus
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and support for various technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Understanding of technical resources and ability to translate technology to non-technical staff
- Sense of urgency and ability to work in an ITIL or ITSM environment
- Experience with team documentation preferred
