Experience Information:
- 2-5 years of experience at a law firm or in a corporate legal department
- Legal experience with commercial transactions, equipment lending, secured loans, asset-based lending, account factoring, creditor’s rights, the UCC, and bankruptcy

H2: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage litigation cases from inception through resolution
- Represent **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations
- Develop and implement legal strategies for favorable outcomes in litigated matters
- Oversee and manage collection processes, including the enforcement of judgments and recovery of outstanding debts
- Collaborate with external agencies and counsel for effective collateral and debt recovery
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments regarding litigation risks, collection matters, and contractual obligations
- Advise on legal and risk management strategies to minimize exposure to litigation and collection issues
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to litigation and collections

H2: Education and Experience Requirements:

- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Utah or eligible for immediate addition as house counsel
- 2-5 years of experience at a law firm or in a corporate legal department
- Legal experience with commercial transactions, equipment lending, secured loans, asset-based lending, account factoring, creditor’s rights, the UCC, and bankruptcy

- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, collection law, and contractual enforcement mechanisms
- Proven track record of successfully managing litigation and collection matters
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of the UCC and laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to equipment transactions, asset-based lending, and factoring
- Able to manage multiple legal projects, assignments, and roles
- Excellent communication skills with both legal and non-legal audiences
- Quick learner with the ability to spot issues and think on your feet in complex and ambiguous situations
- Ability to prioritize workflow and meet short deadlines
