Associate-Level Bankruptcy Attorney
Annapolis, MD Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 Job Description: The Law Firm is seeking an Associate-Level Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team. We are a leading law firm with a strong reputation for handling complex commercial bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring and commercial litigation matters. We are looking for a junior or mid-level associate to enhance our team and contribute to our continued success. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience practicing law in the State of Maryland, with a focus on commercial bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, and creditors' rights. Additional experience in commercial litigation matters is preferred. Candidates with bankruptcy judicial clerkships and journal experience are encouraged to apply. As an Associate-Level Bankruptcy Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and high-profile cases, representing both debtors and creditors. You will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal memoranda and pleadings, and representing clients in court. Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy, analytical, and interpersonal skills are a must for this role. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong client-management skills, high motivation, and a talent for problem-solving. You must also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a desire for immediate contact with clients and consultants. A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required, and admission to the State Bar of Maryland is preferred (with membership in good standing).
