- Responsible for a team of Solicitors, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants
- Successfully manage your own caseload
- Develop and train your team's professional knowledge and competence

- Ensure all court orders are read and actioned accordingly

The National Legal Service (NLS) is a well-respected and dynamic law firm, dedicated to providing exceptional legal services in Family and Care law. We are currently seeking a Family Supervising Solicitor in Norwich to lead our new office and team. As a specialist in Family law, you will have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets and be familiar with dealing with NMO's, PSO's, and OOO's. This role will initially be a stand-alone position, with the opportunity to build and manage a team of legal professionals to support your caseloads.

As the Family Supervising Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a team of Solicitors, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants. You will also be responsible for your own caseload, ensuring your team's professional knowledge and competence are continuously developed and identifying any training needs. You will conduct your own advocacy and representation in court, as well as instructing counsel, agents, and experts when required. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all court orders are read and actioned accordingly. You will also provide clear and comprehensive advice to clients and progress their cases to conclusion.

To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified and experienced lawyer (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) and a member of the Law Society's Children Law or Family Law Accreditation Scheme. You should also have management/leadership experience and proven experience in managing caseloads in Public Children Matters.
