Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED, college degree or legal experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Computer proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and exemplary customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given parameters

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Front Desk Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our team by performing the following tasks:

- Intake of incoming visitors, directing clients, and offering hospitality
- Maintaining office supplies list and ensuring cleanliness of common areas
- Processing client-related documents and updating files
- Traveling to court for filing and presenting documents
- Supporting attorneys with file review and preliminary legal research
- Calendaring hearings, deadlines, meetings, and other events
- Efficiently providing superior service to clients
- Developing and maintaining a well-respected reputation amongst clients, colleagues, and court staff

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED, college degree or 2 years of legal experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and exemplary customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given parameters

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $19-23 per hour, along with the following benefits:

- Retirement: 401(k) plan with company matching
- Paid time off: 40 hours annually for vacation/sick days and paid federal holidays
- Paid volunteer time off: Up to 16 hours annually
