The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $160,000 with benefits. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school and a distinguished academic record, as well as experience in teaching and scholarship. Key Responsibilities: - Teach courses in both the residential law program and the online JD interactive program - Develop and update class syllabus in compliance with College of Law policies - Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments - Maintain regularly scheduled office hours - Build positive rapport with students and faculty - Maintain an active research agenda - Fulfill committee service requirements - Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner - Present instruction based on course competencies and performance levels - Meet all designated class periods - Submit all grades according to College of Law and University regulations Qualifications: - J.D. from an accredited law school - Preferred post-J.D. experience and credentials, such as advanced degrees, judicial clerkships, or relevant legal practice - Demonstrated commitment to excellent classroom teaching and scholarship - Ability to effectively interact with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and community members Responsibilities: - Develop and/or update a class syllabus in compliance with College of Law policies - Order the appropriate books and materials in advance of the class start date - Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments - Maintain regularly scheduled office hours - Present instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course - Meet all designated class periods - Submit all grades according to the College of Law and University regulations - Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner - Provide departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations - Build a positive rapport with students and faculty Qualifications: - Excellent academic record with a J.D. from an accredited law school - Preferred post-J.D. experience and credentials, such as advanced degrees, judicial clerkships, or relevant legal practice - Demonstrated commitment to excellent classroom teaching and scholarship Requirements: - Must have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school - Preferred post-J.D. experience and credentials, such as advanced degrees, judicial clerkships, or relevant legal practice - A demonstrated commitment to excellent classroom teaching and scholarship is required - Must have the skills to effectively interact with diverse groups of students, colleagues, and community members Reputed firm **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is seeking an Associate Professor of Law to join their faculty.
