Security Analyst

This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, with the option to work from home. As a Security Analyst at BBK, you will have the opportunity to investigate and resolve security alerts, manage an MDR service, and utilize various security tools to protect our firm's sensitive data. H1: Law Firm Seeking Experienced Security Analyst to Join Team H2: Work Remotely and Protect Sensitive Data at BBK Responsibilities: - Investigate and resolve security alerts from multiple systems - Utilize Rapid 7 Insight VM to identify, patch, and remediate security vulnerabilities - Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including rule creation - Experience with patch management and Windows Active Directory - Experience with security features of Mimecast and phishing testing - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users - Ability to adapt to changing situations, manage workload, and meet deadlines effectively Qualifications: - Five years of relevant work experience with security in a law firm preferred - Bachelor's degree and "Security " certification a plus - Experience with Rapid 7 products, Crowdstrike, Ivanti, and Microsoft Intune a plus - Strong knowledge of cloud security, SSO, MFA, and identity management The salary for this position will depend on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities: - Investigate and resolve security alerts from multiple systems, including Palo Alto firewalls, CrowdStrike EDR, and Rapid 7 MDR - Utilize Rapid 7 Insight VM to identify, patch, and remediate security vulnerabilities - Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including rule creation - Experience with patch management and managing Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 - Experience with security features of Mimecast, including Impersonation protection, attachment protection, and Threat Remediation - Experience working with Security Awareness platforms, including Phishing Testing - Experience with hardening operating systems and network equipment - Experience with cloud security, SSO, MFA, and Identity management - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users - Ability to adapt to changing situations, manage workload, and meet deadlines effectively Qualifications: - Five years of relevant work experience with security in a law firm preferred - Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, "Security " certification a plus - Experience with Rapid 7 products, Crowdstrike, Ivanti, and Microsoft Intune a plus - Strong knowledge of cloud security, SSO, MFA, and identity management Working Environment: - This position supports a hybrid work environment, with the option to work remotely or in any of our office locations - Normal law office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and the like - Preferred standard hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, with flexibility to occasionally work a shift outside of firm business hours Salary Information: - The actual salary will depend on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications - This position is considered non-exempt At BBK, we value inclusiveness and collaboration, and we are proud of our diverse workplace.
