Job Description

The Legal Assistant—Estate Administration will have the following responsibilities:

Take ownership of the firm’s Estate Administration matters.
Provide outstanding and compassionate customer service to clients.
Provide first-rate legal support to the firm’s attorneys.
Manage and account for Estate files.
Conduct research and analysis.
Prepare and review legal documents.
Gather information through discovery process.
Interact directly with clients.

Education/Experience

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

Excellent computer skills with experience in MS Word and Excel.
Familiarity with Clio preferred.
Bachelor's degree or 1 years of experience with administration of Estates & Guardianship files.
Notary Public preferred, or to be obtained upon hire.

Skills/Competencies

The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to take ownership of files and work independently.
High level of organization and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive details.
Ability to prioritize projects daily.
