Pierre, SD Clear All Job Title: Employee Relations Partner- REMOTE Job Location: Pierre, SD Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 5 years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations Salary: $60K to $75K Travel: 5% Company: Ryder Department: Human Resources Category: HR Compliance Summary: Join the Ryder team as an Employee Relations Partner and work remotely from your home in the South Central region. In this role, you will provide tactical Employee Relations consultation and conduct HR-related investigations to ensure that employee issues are resolved in adherence to company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations. You will also analyze and interpret data to monitor employee relations trends and provide guidance to minimize the company's legal liability. This position offers a salary range of $60K to $75K and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Essential Functions: - Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex systems - Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, ensuring fair, neutral, and timely processes - Provide guidance on employee conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations - Collaborate with Operational Management, HR Business Partners, Labor Relations, and Legal teams to find solutions to complex Employee Relations issues - Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management, legal compliance, and employee communication - Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within the region - Travel as needed to company sites within the supported region Skills and Abilities: - Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of regulations and company policies - Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills - Impartiality and strong conflict resolution skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization - Confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information - Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision - Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment - Strong multitasking and time management skills - Detail-oriented and excellent follow-up practices - Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of employment laws and regulations Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or equivalent - 5 years of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations - Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of employment laws and regulations - Ability to travel up to 5% of the time Join the Ryder team as an Employee Relations Partner and make a difference in the company's HR practices.
