Employee Relations Partner- REMOTE - Juneau, AK

Job Title: Employee Relations Partner- REMOTE

Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent

Location: Remote, must live in the South Central region

Salary: $60K to $75K

Essential Functions:

- Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex systems
- Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations
- Partner with Operational Management/Business HR/ Labor Relations/Legal Teams to create solutions to complex Employee Relations solutions
- Ensure delivery of high-quality Human Resources support
- Mitigate risk in legal compliance and administration of relevant clauses/provisions within union Collective Bargaining Agreements (as applicable)
- Travel to company sites within supported region as needed

Additional Responsibilities:

- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within region
- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of federal, state and local regulations and/or violations of company policies and procedures
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to remain impartial during investigations
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to upskill and train on technology and functional aspects of case management systems
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Proficiency in MS Office suite intermediate required
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations intermediate required

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent
- Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations required
- Proficiency in MS Office suite intermediate required
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations intermediate required

Travel: 5%

Salary: Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $60K to $75K.
