Juneau, AK Clear All Sorted by Relevance Filter by Title Employee Relations Partner- REMOTE (1) Filter by Business Unit Filter by Location Juneau, AK (1) Filter by Company Ryder System (1) Filter by Function Human Resources (1) Filter by Job Type Experienced (1) Filter by Shift 1st Shift (1) Filter by Travel Yes, 5 % of the Time (1) Employee Relations Partner- REMOTE - Juneau, AK Department: Human Resources Company: Ryder System Job Title: Employee Relations Partner- REMOTE Job Category: HR Compliance Experience: Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent Location: Remote, must live in the South Central region Salary: $60K to $75K Essential Functions: - Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex systems - Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations - Partner with Operational Management/Business HR/ Labor Relations/Legal Teams to create solutions to complex Employee Relations solutions - Ensure delivery of high-quality Human Resources support - Mitigate risk in legal compliance and administration of relevant clauses/provisions within union Collective Bargaining Agreements (as applicable) - Travel to company sites within supported region as needed Additional Responsibilities: - Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within region - Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities: - Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of federal, state and local regulations and/or violations of company policies and procedures - Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills - Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to remain impartial during investigations - Strong oral and written communications skills - Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization - Ability to handle confidential information appropriately - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Ability to upskill and train on technology and functional aspects of case management systems - Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment - Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills - Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices - Proficiency in MS Office suite intermediate required - Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations intermediate required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent - Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations required - Proficiency in MS Office suite intermediate required - Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations intermediate required Travel: 5% DOT Regulated: No Salary: Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $60K to $75K.
