Employee Relations Partner

The Employee Relations Partner is responsible for providing consistent, tactical Employee Relations consultation to Managers and Employees to resolve employee issues and advise on employee conflict resolution, disciplinary action and/or termination. This includes conducting HR-related investigations in adherence to company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations. The position also involves analyzing and interpreting data to monitor employee relations trends and providing guidance to minimize legal liability. This is a remote position with a required residence in the South Central region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex systems
- Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations
- Ensure policy interpretation for supervisors and managers in handling employee conflicts and disciplinary actions
- Partner with Operational Management, Business HR, Labor Relations, and Legal Teams to create solutions to complex Employee Relations issues
- Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management and compliance with legal requirements and union agreements
- Travel to company sites within the supported region as needed

Additional Responsibilities:

- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within region
- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of federal, state, and local regulations and company policies and procedures
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to remain impartial during investigations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Travel required (up to 5%)

Salary: $60K - $75K per year, based on internal equity, market data, skills, and experience
