Prepare and process court documents, perform judicial procedures, and work with case management system - Provide customer service to pro se litigants, answer phone calls, and maintain office supplies - Use case management system for opening, docketing, and closing cases, as well as assessing and processing fees - Reconcile monies and prepare bank deposits, and process and expedite orders of protection - Accurately disburses bond payments and reconciles billing and invoices from contracted vendors - Prepare and proofread documents and exhibits, and maintain case files for microfilming and archiving - Serve as a court monitor and liaison between court personnel, litigants, and attorneys - Other duties as assigned Competencies/Qualifications: - Knowledge of legal terminology, jury service, filing methods, case processing, and research methodology - Familiarity with Specialty Court Programs and court fee accounting practices - Understanding of Court Clerk's Procedures Manual, Code of Ethics, and Language Access Policies - Ability to effectively communicate with diverse parties and maintain a professional and inclusive work environment - High school diploma or GED required, with possible substitution of post-secondary education for experience - Two (2) years of experience in court case processing or related field required - Typing certification and court monitor certification may be required -
