The New Hampshire Department of Justice is currently seeking a full-time attorney to join their Civil Litigation Unit. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, including those involving complex and novel questions of state and federal law. The Civil Bureau represents the State, its agencies, and its employees in various legal proceedings, including state and federal trial and appellate courts and administrative tribunals. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and experience in health law and possess excellent analytical and writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the State, its agencies, and its employees before state and federal trial and appellate courts and in administrative proceedings
- Handle a variety of cases, including those involving healthcare-related issues
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex and novel questions of state and federal law
- Draft and review legal documents, such as briefs, motions, and pleadings
- Litigate both routine and complex civil disputes

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
