This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $15.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off. Responsibilities: • Notify and interview offenders charged with violations of agency, facility, and unit rules and regulations. • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports. • Travel between assigned facilities as needed. • Assist in analyzing offenders' positions and developing defense strategies. • Promote positive social skills through modeling and intervention. • Maintain accountability of offenders and property. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent, or GED. • Three months of full-time, wage-earning offender discipline experience. • OR two years of full-time, wage-earning criminal justice experience. • 30 semester hours from a CHEA or USDE accredited college or university may be substituted for each year of experience. • Valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record. • Must pass background checks and training requirements.
