- Work as a floater in our office, training and supporting several attorneys and case staff on rotation
- Train for eventual move to highly sought Case Manager position
- Shadow experienced Case Managers and learn the ropes
- Order medical records from providers
- Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers
- Investigate the nature and facts of cases
- Negotiate deductions of outstanding medical balances with providers
- Prepare documents and correspondence necessary to reach a settlement in each case

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritize
- Attention to detail and positive attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer programs, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Typing speed of at least 35 wpm

Responsibilities:

Shadow Experienced Case Managers:
- Learn the ropes from experienced Case Managers
- Gain valuable insight and knowledge in handling cases
- Prepare for eventual move to Case Manager position

Order Medical Records:
- Work closely with providers to obtain necessary medical records
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of records

Prepare Demands and Assemble Support:
- Compile comprehensive demands for submission to carriers
- Gather necessary documents and evidence to support demands
- Ensure all information is organized and presented effectively

Investigate Cases:
- Thoroughly research and gather facts about each case
- Identify key issues and potential areas of negotiation

Negotiate Outstanding Medical Balances:
- Utilize negotiation skills to reach deductions on outstanding medical balances with providers
- Work towards achieving the best possible outcome for our clients

Prepare Documents and Correspondence:
- Draft and prepare necessary documents and correspondence for each case
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all communications

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department
