Job Description

- Join the Norwich Family and Children team at Mills & Reeve Law Firm as an Associate in Family Law.
- This role involves dealing with all aspects of family law and supporting team members in the wider Family and Children National Service Line.
- The position offers the opportunity to develop a separate case load covering financial and children related work.
- The successful candidate will have 2 years PQE with training and experience in family law gained within a large regional or City firm.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with the Norwich Family and Children team, led by Nick Stone, and the wider cross office Family and Children National Service Line.
- Build relationships with clients, potential clients, and multipliers.
- Draft legal documents and provide excellent written English.
- Manage time and documentation efficiently.
- Conduct legal research and use online information sources.
- Utilize high-level IT skills.

Required Skills and Experience

- 2 years PQE with training and experience in family law gained within a large regional or City firm.
- Good academics.
- Enthusiasm and ambition.
- Commitment to offering professional service at the highest level.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, potential clients, and multipliers.
- Excellent written English for drafting purposes.
- Self-starter with common sense and initiative.
- Ability to work as a team-player on complex matters.
- Very good time and documentation management skills.
- Very good research skills, including an ability to use online information sources.
- High level of IT skills.
