The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex projects with a diverse client base, and play a key role in the firm's growth strategy for the Thames Valley region. The role will involve drafting and negotiating various forms, collaborating with clients and colleagues, and providing excellent client service. Job Title: Senior/Principal Associate - Transactional Construction - Oxford Experience Information: 5 years PQE, experienced background in construction work Location: Oxford, United Kingdom Department: Corporate & Commercial Vacancy Reference: 023409 Closing Date: 19 July 2024 Responsibilities: - Drafting and negotiating various forms, including amendments to standard forms and bespoke drafting of consultant appointments, warranties, and other documents - Advising on construction obligations in property documents - Collaborating with clients and colleagues on projects - Assisting with corporate, real estate, and funding due diligence - Leading on post-completion matters - Conducting legal research - Providing quality client care Skills and Attributes: - Excellent written English - Attention to detail - Ability to build relationships with clients and potential clients - Good research skills - Excellent interpersonal and team skills - Strong IT skills, including knowledge of MS Office - Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively - Enthusiastic and hard-working - Pro-active - Flexible in approach - Experience providing quality client care Pre-Employment Screening: Pre-employment screening will be conducted, including a basic DBS check, right to work check, and a self-declaration to assess character and suitability for the role.
