**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** (LASMTC) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Managing Attorney to oversee our Cookeville office and provide legal representation to eligible clients. Salary Information:

- $93,000.00 – $108,000.00 per year
- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance coverage on first day of employment

- Hybrid schedule eligible

Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality legal representation to individuals in accordance with the Rules of Professional Conduct
- Review and supervise the work of support staff members
- Maintain accurate and orderly client files
- Participate in the firm’s community education program
- Supervise all office employees and volunteers
- Hire and onboard new staff members
- Work with the private bar and LAS Volunteer Lawyer Program to promote involvement
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements and regulations
- Foster effective and collegial professional relationships
- Participate on internal committees and work groups
- Comply with relevant performance criteria and standards
- Promote professional development of office staff

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) and at least 4 years of legal practice
- Prior supervisory experience
- Admitted to practice in Tennessee or eligible for admission through reciprocity
- Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office software
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to prioritize, plan, problem-solve, and meet deadlines
- Well-versed in change management and intergenerational culture building
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is a plus
