As a Senior Criminal Defense Attorney, you will report to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney and manage your own caseload. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our team of talented attorneys and legal assistants. Responsibilities: - Provide legal counsel to clients and advise them on their legal rights - Attend pretrial hearings and strategize with clients on the best course of action - Manage all aspects of the case, including court appearances, trials, and legal research - Analyze potential outcomes and develop effective case strategies - Maintain a manageable workload and prioritize cases accordingly - Conduct legal analysis to determine potential case benefits - Gather additional evidence to support clients' cases - Prepare clients for depositions and gather information from witnesses and experts Qualifications: - Admitted attorney with experience handling criminal cases at the federal, state, and local level - Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Motivated and driven to succeed in a fast-paced legal environment Salary: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year At The Matian Firm, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parking, and paid time off.
