Business Development Specialist

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with leading companies, financial institutions, and governments worldwide, while also developing your skills and career in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our BeLux Transactional Group, covering a wide range of legal practices including Private Equity, M&A, Debt Finance, Capital Markets, Tax, Dispute resolution, and Investment Funds. You will work closely with entrepreneurial partners and senior BD team members, bringing your energy, ideas, and organization to the table to help drive our BD and marketing initiatives. We are looking for a university graduate with at least 5 years of experience, of which a minimum of 3 years has been spent in a marketing position at another global law firm. You must have excellent communication skills in English, French, and Dutch, as well as strong analytical skills and attention to detail. A strong work ethic, sense of professionalism, and the ability to learn and build on knowledge of complex projects are also essential for success in this role. In this role, you will be responsible for leading responses to requests for proposals, conducting research and analysis, developing marketing campaigns and client alerts, planning and executing events, drafting awards and submissions, and maintaining databases and profiles. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our broader BD and Marketing team in EMEA and work on ad hoc projects as needed. This is a long-term position, with a competitive salary of 240000AE, and offers a hybrid work arrangement. You will report to the BeLux BD and Marketing Manager, based in Brussels, and the Senior BD Manager for EMEA Private Equity, based in London.
