Job Title: Experienced Business Immigration Consultant (Paralegal) Location: Miami, FL Time Type: Full Time Salary: Competitive Responsibilities: - Perform substantive and client facing work, including specialized tasks related to employment-based immigration matters. - Independently handle case preparation and filing with government agencies. - Oversee case progress and work with clients to troubleshoot issues and establish case strategy. - Produce well-organized written work product and communicate effectively with clients and foreign nationals. - Meet deadlines and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Assist with hiring and training new team members and identify ways to improve team productivity. - Stay up-to-date on changes to immigration policy and incorporate them into processes. - Utilize case management and reporting tools to manage data and information. - Contribute to team and individual productivity goals. - Follow firm standards and policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. - Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and look for ways to improve quality and efficiency. Requirements: - Associate's degree or Paralegal certificate with 4 years of business immigration experience OR Bachelor's degree with 3 years of business immigration experience. - Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. - Desire to contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
