Legal Secretary – Real Estate
Chelmsford, Essex, United Kingdom Full-time Type of role Legal Secretary Location Chelmsford Department Real Estate Experience Required - Previous administrative/secretarial experience within a law firm preferred, but not essential - High level of accuracy and attention to detail - Strong aptitude for working with data and software packages - Ability to prioritise a high administrative workload with tight deadlines - Self-motivated, flexible and well organised - Previous experience of working on a case management system would be an advantage Responsibilities - Providing secretarial and administrative support to fee earners in the Real Estate department - Audio typing and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence - Opening new files and maintaining existing files - Liaising with clients, solicitors and other professionals - Managing diaries and arranging appointments - Drafting and amending legal documents - Filing, photocopying and scanning documents - Handling incoming and outgoing post and emails Qualifications - Good standard of education including GCSEs in Maths and English - Secretarial qualification preferred, but not essential Salary The salary for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
