Business Associate Attorney
Syracuse, NY Business Associate Attorney - Experienced | Syracuse & Rochester, NY **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, a prestigious law firm with over 300 attorneys and 16 offices across New York State, is seeking an experienced Business Associate Attorney with at least five years of experience to join our growing business department. This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team in a hybrid work arrangement. Responsibilities: - Handle private and public merger and acquisition transactions, including structuring and financing. - Provide general corporate counseling for for-profit and not-for-profit entities, including software licensing and commercial and vendor contracts. - Work with closely-held and family businesses. - Negotiate high-dollar technology, commercial, and vendor contracts. - Assist with business structuring and governance. Qualifications: - At least five years of experience in a similar role. - Admitted and in good standing with the NYS Bar. - Experience managing matters independently with limited supervision. - Experience in higher education institutions, health care law, emerging businesses, or credit unions is a plus.
