Alexandria, VA H1: Associate Litigation Attorney at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** - WFH Flexible H2: Seeking Experienced Litigation Attorney for Virginia Division Law Firm: **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** Department: Litigation Location: WFH Flexible Salary: Commensurate with experience Job Type: Full-time Experience: Minimum of 3 years practicing law Description: - **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is seeking an experienced Associate Litigation Attorney for their Virginia division. - The ideal candidate must be licensed to practice law in Virginia and in good standing, with licensure in additional states preferred. - Familiarity with rules of evidence and experience in foreclosure law, bankruptcy, and litigation is required, along with a general understanding of property law. - Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of state laws and civil procedure, handling a caseload of various litigation matters, attending court hearings, and conducting legal research. - The attorney will also be responsible for responding to disputes, complying with state and federal requirements, and providing legal advice to clients. - Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively are essential for this role. - The firm offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401k. Requirements: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. - Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of the states where you practice on behalf of the firm. - Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on finance, real estate, or representation of financial institutions in real estate related matters. - Experience in real estate, mortgage, and/or commercial litigation strongly preferred. - Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and other debt collection and real property laws. - Exceptional communication skills (oral and written). - Ability to travel as needed.
