Prosecution Attorney
Stillwater, MN H1: Prosecution Attorney at Law Firm H2: Essential Duties and Qualifications Eckberg Lammers, P.C., a law firm located in Minnesota, is seeking a Prosecution Attorney to join their team. This position will be responsible for providing criminal prosecution services for the firm's client communities. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Minnesota municipal appeals process and criminal prosecution law for misdemeanors and felonies. They will also have experience in criminal prosecution and be able to perform courtroom advocacy at all hearings, from arraignment to jury trial. What You'll Do: - Provide criminal prosecution services for client communities - Courtroom advocacy at all hearings from arraignment to jury trial - Knowledge of Minnesota municipal appeals process and criminal prosecution law for misdemeanors and felonies - Charging, drafting, and research - On-call court coverage - Perform special projects and duties as assigned Qualifications: - Must be admitted to practice in Minnesota and in good standing - Three to ten years of criminal prosecution experience - Excellent interpersonal communication skills, attention to details, and organizational skills - Ability to foster existing and build new relationships - High level of personal confidence and professional competence - Emotionally positive, resilient, and mature; readily adapts to diverse situations - Highly focused, reliable, and results oriented - Excellent time management and prioritization skills - Driven, focused self-starter with strong multi-tasking and follow-up skills Working for Us: Eckberg Lammers offers an inclusive work environment with opportunity for growth and development in addition to competitive compensation and benefits offerings, including 401(k), health insurance, life insurance, vacation, and sick time.
