Responsibilities:
- Provide civil legal services to low-income clients in Coos, Curry, and Western Douglas Counties
- Handle a combination of impact litigation and individual cases in state and federal court
- Engage in community outreach to clients, client service organizations, government agencies, and other community stakeholders
- Assist with legislative and policy advocacy
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Use Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Zoom, and cloud-based phone services proficiently
- Take direction and guidance from low-income clients and prioritize their needs
- Advocate effectively in written and verbal communication
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills, a sense of humor, and a positive attitude

Requirements:
- Admission to Oregon Bar, reciprocal eligibility for admission, or availability to sit for next exam
- Demonstrated commitment to justice for low-income communities
- Experience with or interest in complex, impact litigation
- High degree of initiative and ability to manage a caseload
- Desire and ability to work successfully as part of a team
- Proficient use of technology and software
- Ability to take direction from clients and prioritize their needs
- Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, a sense of humor, and a positive attitude

Preferences:
- Proficiency in spoken and written languages other than English
- Experience with complex advocacy for low-income individuals and groups
