**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** (NPLS) is seeking a committed and dedicated individual to join our team as a Staff Attorney in our Bethlehem office. As the regional civil legal services provider in Northeast Pennsylvania, we are dedicated to providing professional legal representation, advocacy, and community legal education to low-income individuals and families.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in a variety of civil cases such as housing, landlord-tenant, consumer, and mortgage foreclosure cases.
- Represent clients in magisterial district courts and courts of common pleas.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts.
- Represent clients in administrative proceedings, such as unemployment compensation referee hearings or ALJ hearings for SSI or public benefits.
- Conduct workshops and outreaches for clients and community partners.
- Travel to different counties.
- Utilize prior experience and demonstrate a commitment to public interest work.

Requirements:

- Admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar.
- Experience in the above areas.
- Fluent in Spanish (preferred).
- Excellent oral, writing, and advocacy skills.
