Law Firm Description:

- Hybrid Legal Assistant role with 80 billable hours per month
- Minimum 5 years experience in civil litigation cases

Responsibilities:
- Electronically assemble and file documents
- Prepare motion and discovery shells
- Coordinate depositions and trials
- Assist with trial/mediation/arbitration documents
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court clerks
- Process payment requests and coordinate client billing
- Maintain client files and contact information
- Schedule meetings, conference calls, depositions, and travel arrangements
- Experience with Outlook/LSS calendaring and iManage document management preferred
- Strong skills in editing, proofreading, and grammar
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems, prioritize work, and manage time effectively
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise personal integrity and judgment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Other administrative tasks as assigned
- Experience with complex defense litigation preferred

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Business school or legal secretarial degree preferred
- Paralegal certificate strongly preferred
