Law Firm Seeks Experienced Labor and Employment Attorney
- Full-time, hybrid position in Mid-sized women-owned education law firm
- Represent school and community college districts statewide
- Seeking candidates for Sacramento, East Bay, and San Francisco offices

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of labor, employment, and personnel experience
- Experience with labor negotiations, including developing proposals and strategies
- Familiarity with Educational Employment Relations Act or similar statute preferred
- Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
- Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a variety of legal matters
- Admission to the California State Bar

The Position:

- Represent public entities, with preference for those with prior school district representation

Responsibilities:
- Handle labor, employment, and personnel matters for school and community college districts
- Serve on negotiations team and develop bargaining proposals, side letters, and MOUs
- Negotiate collective bargaining agreements and MOUs
- Advise clients on labor relations and compliance with applicable laws
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Attend meetings and hearings as necessary

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor, employment, and personnel law
- Familiarity with Educational Employment Relations Act or similar statute preferred
- Prior experience in public entity representation and/or school district representation a plus

- Admission to the California State Bar
- Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
