Location and Qualifications:
• This position is open in multiple DWK offices, including San Francisco, Long Beach, San Diego, Sacramento, East Bay, and Fresno.
• Qualified candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience, including representation of public entities in litigation, experience with governance and accountability issues, and admission to the California State Bar.
• Prior experience presenting before governing boards and representing school districts is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Represent public entities in litigation, including civil writs.
• Handle governance and accountability issues, including open meeting and public records requirements.
• Conduct legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Work on a variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities.

Salary Information:
The anticipated annual salary wage range for this position is $140,000 – $175,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on factors such as experience, education, and industry knowledge.
