Legal Administrative Assistant
Fort Lauderdale, FL H1: Join Our Team as a Legal Administrative Assistant at a Top U.S. Law Firm H2: Exciting Opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, FL Law Firm Seeking Experienced Legal Administrative Assistant The Role: As a Legal Administrative Assistant at our top 100 U.S. law firm, you will work with our Corporate Practice Group at our Fort Lauderdale, Florida office. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a cooperative, team-oriented attitude. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of legal administrative support experience, with a strong understanding of securities offerings, commercial loan representation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate filings, and governance issues. Responsibilities: - Create Microsoft Office Word documents with basic features and complex formatting - Run conflict checks and open new client matters - Draft engagement letters and other required documents with attorney's direction - Maintain electronic files in document management system - Input and edit attorney's time - Assist with client billing and maintain attorney's calendars - Schedule meetings and make travel arrangements - Process expense reimbursements and invoices - Other duties as assigned Requirements: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - High attention to detail - Courteous and professional demeanor - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines - Team player with ability to work with attorneys and colleagues - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) - Skilled in using PDF programs/software (i.e. Kofax) - Working knowledge of document management software Benefits: - Competitive compensation package - Comprehensive benefits package - Independent and proactive work environment Join our team and become a valuable member of our top U.S. law firm.
