Corporate Finance Solicitor
York, York, United Kingdom About the Role We are looking for an experienced Corporate Finance Solicitor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice to our clients on corporate finance and M&A transactions. The role will involve: • Advising on M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating the transaction documents, and providing advice on the legal and commercial aspects of the transaction • Advising on corporate finance transactions, including IPOs, private placements, and venture capital investments • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts • Providing advice on corporate governance and regulatory matters • Liaising with other professionals, such as accountants and tax advisors, to ensure the successful completion of transactions • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients The successful candidate must have: • A law degree and at least 5 years PQE in corporate finance law • Excellent legal and commercial knowledge and skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • The ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills The salary for this position is negotiable and will be dependent on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
