Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant - Litigation

Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative role preferred.

Overview:
Law Firm is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant with a focus in litigation to work in our Helena, Montana office. The Legal Administrative Assistant works closely with attorneys and legal professionals in a collaborative environment, providing direct support to assigned attorneys and performing a variety of administrative and clerical support tasks to ensure high-quality service and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Compiles, proofs, and revises legal documents, contracts, briefs, motions, and pleadings
- Files and maintains electronic and non-electronic case files
- Opens and closes case files
- Retrieves information as requested from records, files, and other related documents
- Prepares written summaries of data when needed
- Schedules meetings, conferences, and depositions
- Maintains attorneys’ calendars with appointments, court appearances, and other deadlines
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative role preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and other similar software
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
