Job Details: The team member is responsible for various tasks that include the following: loading trucks by taking boxes off of an Expando (conveyor belt that moves) and stacking them into the trailer, stamping boxes, aligning box with label reader, taking boxes off of conveyor and placing them on pallets on the rail system, taking the boxes from the previous day and placing them on conveyor going to the trucks, pushing the palletized boxes down the rails to be thrown on a conveyor, and restocking pallets. Must be willing to continuously bend, push, and pull to lift boxes or pallets that are below waist level. The weights of the boxes vary from 10 lbs. to 80 lbs. During a day, a team member must be willing to stack approximately 3000 boxes. The team member must be willing to stand the entire duration of the shift. The member must be willing to learn and operate a power industrial truck (forklift). The temperature of the work area could be as low as 28 degrees. Must be able to work assigned shifts and weekends. Must be able to read and understand manuals, execute work assignments and document work completed on scheduling sheet. Must be willing to work in cold and damp temperatures.
