Litigation Paralegal/Administrator
Scottsdale, AZ The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter with experience and superior skills at performing the following tasks with minimal supervision: Communicate with clients and witnesses to gather relevant facts needed to prepare pleadings, discovery, disclosure statements, and responses to discovery Draft discovery, discovery responses, and disclosure statements Draft stipulations and orders Assist attorneys in preparing for trial and arbitrations, including preparing exhibits, trial notebooks and handling logistics (e.g., audio-visual needs) Manage the firm's calendar and case management database Review and summarize document productions and depositions Schedule meetings with clients, prospective clients and others Coordinate with court reporters Arrange for and oversee service of process Perform administrative tasks as needed The ideal candidate will also be proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel) and Adobe, and have a strong working knowledge of the applicable Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure. Superior communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills and professional appearance are also required. |
