Work From Home Data Entry Clerk/ Full time - Part time
Texas City, TX We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team in a remote capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in various systems, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency. This position requires excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Inputting, updating, and maintaining data in databases, spreadsheets, and company software systems. Verifying accuracy of data and correcting errors when identified. Organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results. Handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Performing regular data backups and ensuring data integrity. Reviewing and processing incoming data, and ensuring timely entry into the system. Communicating with team members and supervisors regarding data discrepancies or issues. Assisting with reports and data analysis as needed. Following company guidelines and protocols for data entry and system usage. Participating in training sessions to improve knowledge of software tools and systems. Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred). Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role, preferably in a remote work setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and/or Google Workspace. Experience with data entry software, CRM, or ERP systems is a plus. Excellent typing speed and accuracy (typically 40-60 WPM or higher). Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot and correct errors. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to adapt to new software and tools as needed. Reliable internet connection and appropriate remote work setup. Work Environment & Schedule: This is a remote work position, so candidates must have a quiet, dedicated workspace. Flexible work hours or set hours depending on company needs. Reliable internet access and a functional computer with necessary software (company may provide additional tools). Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate or salary based on experience.
