Self-directed, experienced attorney needed for hourly, fully remote, flexible corporate legal work
Denver, CO Law firm that focuses on cutting-edge technology legal issues needs a corporate attorney to assist with general corporate legal work for predominantly high-tech client base. Primary attorney at firm is extremely busy with niche client projects, and he needs to delegate all general-knowledge legal work to a competent and experienced attorney who needs little supervision. This position will pay between $175-$225 an hour, depending on experience level. For the right candidate, there could be growth and even potentially partnership opportunities down the road. Big-law experience preferred but not required for the right candidate. Some weeks this job might demand 15-20 hours of work, and some weeks there might be no work. That said, an expectation of 5-10 hours a week of work is reasonable. Most of the work associated with this position is not urgent, so this position should be ideal for a highly qualified attorney who needs flexibility in their schedule. The right fit would also likely be someone who needs extra income, but who isn’t so desperate for income where they need to find a new job if there’s a slow month from time to time.
