Experienced Attorney - Supervising Attorney

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and courtroom procedures, immigration proceedings experience a plus. This role will involve handling complex legal cases, conducting legal research, conducting client consultations and working with government agencies and courts. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional legal services, driving growth of the Firm, meeting deadlines, increasing and maintaining high-quality work.

Salaries are dependent on experience level. Candidates with 7 years of experience (or more) will be offered a higher pay rate.

Responsibilities

Representing clients: Representing clients in court and before government agencies
Preparing documents: Preparing legal documents like petitions, applications, appeals, and waivers
Researching: Researching and analyzing complex immigration law issues
Providing advice: Providing legal advice and counsel on all aspects of immigration law
Communicating: Communicating with clients about their immigration matters
Monitoring: Monitoring changes in immigration law and advising clients accordingly
Developing strategies: Developing strategies to resolve immigration-related problems
Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Staying up to date: Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and trends
Creating strategies to increase efficiency and drive growth within the Firm.

Requirements

- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- A license to practice law in any state.
- Strong knowledge of Immigration Law, including Family, litigation and Business.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with clients and opposing parties.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures.
- Proficiency with legal research tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to problem solve and find working solutions that drive efficiency.
- Relentless advocate that will continue pursue options for the client even when it seems impossible.
