About the Position: - Summer associate position for law students after their second year - Designed to provide a realistic picture of life as an associate at the firm - Opportunity to work on a variety of legal projects and gain valuable experience - Receive on-going feedback from assigning attorneys - Daily interaction with firm attorneys and social events during the summer
Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research and writing - Attend depositions, meetings, and conference calls with clients - Observe trials and other legal proceedings - Draft and respond to discovery requests - Other legal projects as assigned
Requirements: - Currently enrolled in law school after second year - Strong academic record - Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills - Demonstrated interest in the legal field - Ability to work independently and in a team environment
