Job Title: Contract & Compliance Review Specialist at Reputed Firm in Toledo, OH
Salary: $58,391 to $72,957 per year, commensurate with education and experience
Experience: Bachelor's degree in paralegal, accounting, business law or management, or related discipline required. J.D. or Master's degree preferred. Minimum two years of experience in regulatory compliance, contract management or negotiation, and management of subcontractor programs. Advanced degree may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities: - Draft and negotiate contracts and subcontracts for sponsored projects - Monitor and document sub-recipient risk and activity - Complete reporting as required by federal regulations - Assess agreements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local funding regulations - Communicate effectively with university personnel, external sponsors, and organizations - Serve as a resource on policy issues - Exercise discretion and independent decision-making skills - Work in a team environment and meet time-sensitive deadlines - Maintain a customer service-oriented environment - Complete and maintain mandatory training
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in related field required, advanced degree preferred - Minimum two years of experience in regulatory compliance, contract management or negotiation, and management of subcontractor programs - Proficiency with computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro - Working knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting contracts for public organizations and universities - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work under stressful and time-sensitive conditions - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to collaborate with others at various levels - Detail-oriented and self-motivated - Ability to pass a nicotine test and other required health screenings
