JOB OVERVIEW Produce institutional affirmative action plans, compliance reports, strategic leadership advice and memoranda, campus and climate assessments, and related communications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS *Access, validate, and reconcile data from complex databases, internal and external to the institution (e.g. HRIS, Business Warehouse, Census, IPEDS, DOL, DOE, and other governmental and non-governmental agencies, associations, and/or related resources), for production and assessment of affirmative action plans and other required federal and state equal opportunity reporting. *Write and execute queries and database algorithms in SQL, SAP, Excel, Access, and/or other applications, ensuring efficiencies in the collection, maintenance, auditing, and reporting of institutional, labor, market, and associated databases. *Produce the University's annual affirmative action plans, periodic assessments, and on-demand data analytics ensuring University compliance with Executive Order 11246, as amended, and related obligations. *Create accessible, strategic communications, reports and compliance plans, including analysis of community member utilization, availability, turnover, demographic change, progress toward goals, and other measures of institutional equity to design. *Collaborate with university stakeholders to design and implement strategies and programs that support diversity, equity and inclusion of protected groups. *Review search process, recruitment plans and assessment tools to provide effective consultation, advice, and recommendation to university stakeholders on good-faith affirmative action efforts and general equitable employment practices. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need. REQUIRED EDUCATION *Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business Analytics, Human Resources, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Pre-Law, or related field. *Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of educational requirement. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE *One (1) year of experience producing and/or administering affirmative action plans, performing similar statistical analysis, and/or conducting complex reporting on compliance matters. *Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity within an organization, team, and/or campus environment. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED *Master's Degree in fields that involve statistical analysis, scientific method, and survey research, such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Social Sciences or other similar disciplines. *Experience with data visualization software, e.g., Excel or Tableau *Experience using HRIS systems and SAP. *Experience with designing and delivering trainings. *Prior consulting experience. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT *Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
