Job Description: - Seeking an experienced Attorney for Workers’ Compensation defense litigation - Fully remote position with the flexibility to work from home - Responsible for representing clients in Workers’ Compensation cases and conducting legal research - Drafting legal documents and attending hearings and mediations (virtual when possible) - Collaborating with team members and clients remotely
Key Responsibilities: - Represent clients in Workers’ Compensation defense cases - Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies - Draft legal documents, including motions and briefs - Attend hearings and mediations (virtually when possible) - Collaborate with team members and clients remotely
Qualifications: - Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school - Active bar admission in New York for a minimum of 5 years - Workers’ Compensation experience preferred, but not required - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in legal research and case management software - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
