- Extensive contact with clients, insurance companies, and other law firms - Familiarity with medical records and ability to gather and analyze information - Assist with cases from sign up through resolution - Maintain contact with clients and provide regular updates - Docketing and calendaring to ensure deadlines are met - Organization and maintenance of case files - Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and writing skills
Requirements:
- Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written - Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs - Ability to assist attorney in keeping cases organized and up-to-date - Frequent communication with clients - Multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail and accuracy - Time management, professional communication, and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and within a team-based structure - Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and legal software
Preferences:
- 1 year of experience in a law firm setting preferred - Experience with Workers Compensation cases - Bilingual in English and Spanish
