Salary Information:
Hourly salary range: $28.00 - $40.00 Bonus opportunity available Actual pay may vary based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law
Experience Requirements:
3 years experience in Workers' Compensation practice preferred ABA Approved Paralegal Certificate
Job Description:
Perform administrative duties, including proofreading and editing all materials for extreme accuracy and clarity. Type at least 65-75 words per minute Ensure accuracy of naming conventions and proper saving of electronic files Knowledge of legal documents and terminology Assist with calendar calls and deposition scheduling Experience with E-file and discovery requests Knowledge of billing and adherence to client guidelines Proficient with Microsoft Office Exceptional organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Document and present legal research to supervising attorney(s) Conduct legal research and investigations Develop relationships with clients and other professionals Organize and maintain legal documents Meet billing hour target of 100 hours per month
