Manage processes related to vendor setups, EDI transmissions, UPC codes, internal and external compliance standards
REPORTS TO: Supervisor Merchandise Operations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Operate as a liaison between internal buying teams and external vendor partners regarding the execution and communication of EDI and UPC requirements and industry standards *Analyze if UPC codes are setup correctly in the vendor catalogs and downloading without error into DSW Jesta system *Support the Merchandise Operations Supervisors to trouble shoot and resolve purchase order related issues *Partner with cross-functional teams (Distribution Center, Vendor Finance, Legal, Vendors, IT, Drop Ship, Purchase Order Management/Supervisors and Buying) to provide research and resolution when issues arise *Manage the new vendor set up process including and EDI & UPC codes *Identify and resolve issues with vendor EDI and Advance Shipping Notices transmissions *Partner with vendors on late Functional Acknowledgement EDI transmissions *Communicate product labeling and ticketing requirements or changes *Create and maintain process documentation & training materials for Vendor Compliance team; act as mentor and trainer for new Purchase Order Management Specialists and Buying teams *Suggests ideas for process improvements *Assists with DSW Vendor Compliance Website

*Bachelor's Degree Required
EXPERIENCE:
*Retail, Supply Chain or analytical experience, previous experience in Purchase Order Management or Compliance preferred
