VP & Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment Law - Remote Hybrid Role
Job Summary: The VP & Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment Law will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the legal aspects of labor and employment within **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** This individual will work closely with senior executives, operational management, human resources, and other functions across the company. This is a full-time, hybrid role with a preferred location in Woonsocket, RI, Parsippany, NJ, or Hartford, CT.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement legal strategies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws - Create and oversee company policies related to labor and employment - Manage and oversee all labor and employment-related litigation, including complex class actions - Provide legal advice and support to senior management on employee relations, workplace investigations, and disciplinary actions - Identify and mitigate potential legal risks related to labor and employment practices - Manage and drive efficient utilization of legal resources and expenses - Lead and manage a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals - Develop a working understanding of CVS Health's business models and strategic initiatives
Qualifications: - Minimum 10 years of experience in a law firm or in-house position with a focus on employment law - Experience in a healthcare or retail organization - Experience with California class actions and single plaintiff employment cases - Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels - Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and provide timely advice - Expertise in labor and employment laws - Strong litigation management experience - Admitted to a state bar and in good standing - Hybrid in-office schedule preferred (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday)
Education: - Graduate of a law school accredited by the American Bar Association
Compensation: $280,000.00-$380,000.00
