BULLET POINTS: - Honigman, an international business law firm, is seeking an experienced Unified Communications and Network Administrator for their Detroit office. - The firm has a strong reputation for being one of the Best and Brightest Places to Work in Metropolitan Detroit. - With over 300 attorneys in 60 different areas of concentration, Honigman provides timely and cost-effective counsel to clients in numerous industries. - The Unified Communications and Network Administrator is responsible for day-to-day tasks, provisioning, and maintaining the corporate telephony and Cisco VOIP infrastructure. - This includes IP telephones, SIP Trunks, VPLS and Dedicated Internet circuits, POTS lines, and Cisco Unified Communications servers. - The role also involves maintenance of network power infrastructure and data center cooling, as well as administration of web filtering and enterprise printing systems. - The successful candidate will have at least two years of related experience and/or training in telecommunications, IP telephony, traditional telephone service, and computer networking. - A general understanding of IP telephony protocols such as H.323 and SIP is required, along with knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and Microsoft Office 365. - The ability to work independently and handle urgent requests and emergencies outside of standard business hours is also important.
